The gift is a box of kinky toys, and as much as Kirhal loves Jason, he isn't sure he wants to pass it along. However, when Jason gives him a nice present, Kirhal realizes he's going to have to swallow his pride and hand it over. Will his gift make Christmas bright?

Secrets Behind "Secrets of the Solstice Sacrifice"

Anyone who's done a significant amount of editing (editing other people's work, I mean) will tell you the same thing: you don't walk away from the experience with glowing praise in your heart for every author, or for every book you edit. Sometimes, it's true, you fall in love with a book. That's certainly happened to me in the editing process. Sometimes, though, the experience is downright frustrating and you keep your fingers crossed that the author will never turn around and ask you, "But did you like it? Was it good?"

That said, I took it as high praise indeed when my editor, Bryn Colvin, sent me a quick email one day to let me know she'd written an article centered around my erotic fairy story, Secrets of the Solstice Sacrifice. I was stunned by the complimentary and insightful nature of her review of my work:
Renarde takes the bold move of telling her tale from an entirely faerie set of perspectives. There are no human characters to engage with. She runs with two perspectives, characters who are both sympathetic, and very clearly not human. Part of the success of this stems, I think, from her very careful language use, having elements that take her characters away from human experience without making them unreadable. No mean feat, I would say.
Read the entire article called "Visions of Faerie" at The Pagan and The Pen.

Quick Six TNG with Gabriel West

1. What does "vanilla" mean to you?
- One rather lovely flavor of ice cream, especially with chocolate and caramel sauce. Or it could be some rather touching scene that fades out before the smexing can begin.

2. Is there any moment from your life that you remember in slow motion?
- The afternoon I heard my best friend tell me over the phone that she knew I was transgender. I was still trying to come to terms with it myself at the time; I didn't even know what to call it. I thought I was just being difficult/a freak. But when she told me that, and that she was cool with what I was, everything just slowed down. The conversation, time, like it was all fitting into place around me. Feel really good ^_^ .

3. What's the most unsettling movie you've ever seen?
- When I was a little kid, it was Jurassic Park. When I was older, Sphere. Now? I dunno. I guess I got smarter and I stay away from movies like that. The thing that got me the worst was a video game I've seen played called Fatal Frame. So freaking terrifying that I couldn't sleep in my own bed lol.

4. If you had to get a tattoo on your face, what would you want it to
look like?
- On my face? It would either be a barcode beneath my left eye or a braid that stretched across my face, from ear to ear and across my nose. I saw a viking-dude with it in some movie, and I always thought it was cool. What can I say? I like tattoos ^_^ .

5. How many monkeys jumping on the bed?
- Uh, not on my bed they don't!

6. Which of the books or stories you've written is your favourite?
- Out of my published stories, I like "Mind/Body Medicine" just a little more then "The Storm Yet to Come." But a few of my yet unpublished works blow those two out of the water.

Here are links to the Torquere Catalog where "Mind/Body Medicine" and "The Storm Yet to Come."

These are the blurbs for -
"Mind/Body Medicine" : Rindae's fa'ithe Justan, the warrior he has given his life to, has succumbed to the force that drives all Maa'rish warriors. It has taken over his mind so completely that Justan is trapped within the force. Rindae goes to see what has become of Justan during his stay at an institution. Can the bond that they forged before Justan's mind was swept away be strong enough to bring Justan back to him?

"The Storm Yet to Come" : The planet of Mathai is just as deadly as the Maa'rish warriors who live across its surface. Storm, a Sarish hunter, has tracked his prey, the warrior who saved his life, to a small town in the midst of a sweltering desert. However, Storm doesn't know what's waiting for him when he finally springs his trap. Will he survive the encounter?

Transgender Day of Remembrance 2010

November 20th, 2010 we observe the 12th annual Transgender Day of Remembrance. For events commemorating this solemn occasion in your city, visit http://www.transgenderdor.org/

What is TDOR all about?

Honour. This day, we honour the lives we've lost to transphobia. We reflect on the trans men and women who have been killed in the cold blood. They will not be forgotten. On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we take the time to reflect on lives shortened by transphobic violence.

Must remember. Can't forget. Must remember. Can't forget.
My girlfriend is transgendered. She is one of the most courageous people I know. It takes incredible bravery to live a trans life. Most of society rejects and demonizes trans people because it doesn't want to understand them. Despite the leaps and bounds "society" has made in accepting those of us who are not straight, that same "society" (and even many people in the so-called LGBT "community") lags sorely behind when it comes to understanding and respecting the T--people who identify as transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, 2-Spirit.

There's something about gender identity that gets many people up in arms. The tautology "boys will be boys" says it all: we have this bizarre expectation that every creature born with a penis possesses an inherent predisposition to operate within a certain set of constructs. What we so often seem to forget is that these are social constructs. They are created and sustained by societies.

When we place strict limitations on gender expression, what do we serve but the status quo? At worst, we encourage a political climate in which violence against transgender people, including all people who live in some sense a gender non-normative life, is okay. What a harsh statement, right? But that's the world we're living in now.

Do you remember the last time you heard or read about violence against a trans person from a mainstream news source? I don't remember ever hearing about the murders of trans people on "the news." I know they take place only because I hear about the cases through transgender newsgroups. People die because of transphobia, and we don't even hear their stories.

That's what Transgender Day of Remembrance is all about: remembering the dead. Acknowledging atrocities have occurred and continue to occur, and heightening our awareness of violence against trans men and women.

If you'd like to honour the lives of slain trans people and you're thinking of attending a TDOR event in your area, here's a great place to look: http://www.transgenderdor.org/

I'd like to tease you with a little excerpt from my story, Webcam Amateur:

It was a simple curiosity that grew into a fascination, and then a fascination that became an obsession.

I'm talking about solo sex caught on tape--girls who get off in front of their webcams and post it on amateur porn sites. As I said, I tuned in solely out of curiosity. I knew how I got myself off, but I wondered how other women played with their bodies when they were home alone. Maybe I wanted to see if I was "normal." Who knows?

So I watched an amateur webcam video of a slim young woman lying on her bed, and using her fingers and then her toys to bring herself to orgasm. It all looked very familiar. I had to watch another to make sure it wasn't just a one-off.

The same sequence of events repeated in the next webcam masturbation session I watched. This girl was plump with big boobs. To see her on the street, she would have seemed perfectly plain, but her arousal made her sexy. Anyway, just like the first girl, she started with her clit. She played with it over her panties while she squeezed her tits, and then she stripped to get down and dirty with her pussy. She stroked her clit until her need to be filled was visible in her eyes. Then she sunk her plump fingers inside and fucked herself fast.

Patterns repeated, video after video. There were endless variations, of course, but every woman--young, old, curvy, or thin--seemed to start with her clit and her tits and then move on to fucking herself with her fingers or her toys. The pitch and intonation of her pleasured cries were so familiar they could have been my own. It was affirming, watching all this. It made me feel like, yes, I am one of them. I bring myself to orgasm the same ways they do. We all are one.

Maybe it's strange to find webcam masturbation sessions cosmic, but after watching one after another after another, I do. That's why I decided to make my own...

To read more, buy the antho. It's only $2.49!

Cheers,

Giselle

m i TMI?

For as long as I've been a published author, I've received two pieces of advice:

1. Get personal with readers. They want to know all about you, know you're a real person, hear about your life, etc.

2. Don't tell readers about your life. It's dangerous, alienating, unprofessional, and generally TMI.*

*TMI=Too Much Information

I get where both sides are coming from, but I do what feels right for me--career-wise, and personally. I'm sure those who hold #2 as the Golden Rule would call me horribly rude, crude, and unprofessional, and that's their prerogative, but I like tweeting and blogging and chatting about my life. Even my sex life...because, hell, I write erotica for a living. Why not share my life experience, be it heavenly-erotic or earthy-amusing?

When the opportunity came along to contribute to Chrissie Bentley's new book The Bad Girl's Sweet Kiss: A blow-by-blow anthology of first time fellatio and other oral delights, I was beyond excited.

Are you familiar with the premise of this book? Here's the blurb:

A blow-by-blow anthology of first-time fellatio and other oral delights. Chrissie Bentley is a woman on a mission - to raise the profile of oral sex. In 'The Bad Girl's Sweet Kiss' she has brought together her own experiences as well as those of many other erotic writers from all over the world. From some of the most well-known voices in erotica to more recent newcomers to the field, everybody's first time is different. In this diverse collection of blow-by-blow accounts exploring an oft-overlooked act of intimacy, you'll find something to shock, titillate, amuse as well as trigger memories of your own oral initiation.
It's not just any old erotica antho. This one is full of true stories. Yes, it is! We authors share the stories of our first experiences with oral sex. For reals! If you'd like to hear the excruciating details of my first time giving a blow job, it's all there in black and white. I was brutally honest, just for you.

Well, for me too, I must admit. I like honesty. I would rather share the truth than hide behind the facade of lies. Maybe that's why I share so much about my life with readers: I'm not ashamed of my life's weirdness or queerness or un-normal-ness, and I hope my openness can encourage others to feel proud of who they are.

So, am I TMI? At times, yes, certainly. But if it doesn't bother you, it doesn't bother me.

Hugs,
Giselle

Quick Six TNG with Lara Zielinsky

It's my great delight to bring you today's Quick Six interview with Lara Zielinsky.

1. What does "vanilla" mean to you?

Vanilla means sweet and simple moments. Nothing too elaborate, but smooth and easy on the palate, an easy romantic read.

2. Is there any moment from your life that you remember in slow motion?

Falling from a slide when I was five years old. Weirdest thing. Couldn't stop my fall, but was completely aware of it the whole way to the ground.

3. What's the most unsettling movie you've ever seen?

Sybil, the original with Sally Field. O.M.G. What a horrifying story, and to realize it's essentially true? Devastatingly upsetting.

4. If you had to get a tattoo on your face, what would you want it to look like?

If I *had* to get a tattoo on my face? You'd better kill me before I kill you for trying. No one is going anywhere near my face with needles of any kind.

5. How many monkeys jumping on the bed?

5 monkeys jumping on the bed.

6. Which of the books or stories you've written is your favorite?

I really love my first novel -- who forgets their first love, after all? It's titled Turning Point:

Actresses Brenna Lanigan and Cassidy Hyland have been cast as polar opposites -- including the ice. The icy thaw between them begins when Cassidy invites the cast to her five year old son's birthday party. Slowly the thawed space fills with warm moments of conversation, commiseration, and camaraderie. Gradually both women come to accept a love they never expected.

New Release: FRIENDS OF DOROTHY

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with FRIENDS OF DOROTHY, my new MMF title from lyd Alterotica. I rarely write cowboy stories, but...WOW...I might just start pumping out the Western!

In this very early prequel to LESLIE GOOSEMOON RIDES AGAIN, rodeo star Leslie Goosemoon is caught cross-dressing red-handed...or, more accurately, red-pantied. How does he goes from laughing-stock to bar brawl to MMF ménage participant? You'll just have to read the book and find out! ;-)

Friends of Dorothy - Giselle Renarde

$2.50

When rodeo king Leslie Goosemoon is caught wearing lacy red panties, he becomes more than a laughing stock. In fact, Dorothy's Tavern is turned upside down by the ensuing brawl! Does Dorothy know just what Leslie needs? Or does her boyfriend Ricky know better?

Blurb:

Leslie Goosemoon is a rodeo star with legions of ladies fawning over him. Things are getting hot and heavy with Sheryl, the one-night-stand he picked up at Dorothy's Tavern, when she zips open his jeans and finds Leslie Goosemoon wearing ladies' panties--silky and red with lace around the top. By the time he returns to Dorothy's, the whole bar's heard about his predilection. Some laugh. Some call him faggot. Nobody understands him, but that doesn't mean Leslie's going to roll over and play dead. Hell, he doesn't fully understand himself! The best he can do is duck the punches and repel the spit.

Ricky, Dorothy's living-in-sin boyfriend, has a theory about the undies: Leslie dresses like a lady because he secretly wants to get with another man. That doesn't sound right to Leslie, but he has no counter. He doesn't know why he likes the silky feel against his skin. When Ricky gets hit in the head with a boot, Dorothy becomes mother bear. She kicks out the offenders and sends Leslie to take care of Ricky upstairs in their apartment. hey all know what's going to happen next.

Excerpt:

Ricky swung his head in so close Leslie felt the stubble prick his cheek. Ricky’s tone was not unsympathetic when he said, “I heard you were a faggot.”

Leslie knew how other men would react to the accusation—they’d smash a glass, toss a chair, or throw a punch. He wasn’t about to do anything like that. First off, he felt a hole inside his chest that seemed to be sucking in everything around him. With all that happening inside, he had no energy to expend. Second, Leslie knew he was no faggot, so what difference did it make who said what? He liked pussy.

“Are you?” Ricky asked. His voice seemed strained with despair, or with hope—the two sounded much alike to Leslie.

“No,” Leslie said. “That’s what Sheryl went around telling all these people? I’m a faggot?” He would have laughed if he weren’t so on edge.

Ricky turned his gaze to Dorothy as she flirted with the boys at the bar. That woman got everybody’s hopes on the rise. Strange that Ricky never seemed the least bit jealous. Most of the men around here would fight a bull if he caught it looking his girl up and down. Of course, that was likely the reason Dorothy was stepping out with Ricky and not those of the bitterly possessive lot. Dorothy was slender, but she was a powerhouse in disguise. If Leslie could be a woman, he’d want to be every bit like Dorothy.

“Sheryl said you were prancing around in ladies’ underpants,” Ricky said, shattering Leslie’s focus. “She said you didn’t show her a very good time because you were…you know…” He paused to rephrase, tracing his fingernail across the bar’s natural wood grain. Gazing down at the patina, he leaned in so close Leslie felt the heat of Ricky’s cheek against his own. He spoke very softly. “She said you liked dick.”

Thank the good lord Dorothy was looking away and Ricky’s face was nestled in beside his ear—that way, nobody noticed his eyes growing too big for their sockets. He’d never considered the possibility. Not that he didn’t know other guys liked to relieve their tensions together, just that he’d never imagined doing it himself. He’d always craved pussy. From the time he was a young snip, he’d chased the girls and kissed their cheeks. Could Sheryl be right about him? Maybe she saw something he couldn’t. Maybe he’d always been secretly drawn to ladies’ clothing because he wanted to be fucked like one of them.

In his confusion, Leslie chuckled and furled his brow. Backing away from the pool of Ricky’s musky aroma, he shook his head side to side. “Well, that ain’t how it happened,” he said. Aw shit! Now Dorothy was waltzing on over! Why was everybody so interested in his private life? Sometimes the scrutiny he faced as a rodeo star was downright deplorable. Sure, everybody expected him to be a ladies’ man, but get caught wearing ladies’ underwear and suddenly your name is mud!

Quick Six TNG with Berengaria Brown

1. What does "vanilla" mean to you?

Icecream. LOL. Missionary position, one man/one woman sex. Which can be enjoyable, but ménages and a little spice are better. Who doesn’t like some chocolate topping and nuts on their vanilla icecream!

2. Is there any moment from your life that you remember in slow motion?

No, but sitting at my desk at the day job sometimes drags, when I’d rather be at home writing and talking to the characters in my head.

3. What's the most unsettling movie you've ever seen?

I don’t watch that type of movie. I’m more a James Bond kinda gal. Gotta love explosions, car chases, and yummy heroes.

4. If you had to get a tattoo on your face, what would you want it to look like?

Something timeless and a little different, but still small. Not a

butterfly or flower. Maybe a heart on my cheek?

5. How many monkeys jumping on the bed?

Three: two male and a female. I do tend to write MMF ménages.

6. Which of the books or stories you've written is your favorite?

A good Momma doesn’t have favorites, but I am partial to outdoor sex and Huldah does have a very good time with Derek and Corey.

“Huldah’s Two Hikers” by Berengaria Brown

Huldah aims to conquer the challenging three-day hike. Derek and Corey plan to conquer Huldah.

Derek is tall, dark and dominating. Golden-blond Corey is warm and caring and can turn a campfire meal into a feast. Huldah just wants to prove to herself she can navigate and hike the trail. But the two men are awfully yummy. And distracting. Besides, sex outdoors is very good, especially with two men at once.

Between them, the two men bring Huldah’s passions to the boil and the three enjoy the hottest, most innovative sex ever.

Then Derek’s bossiness starts to cause problems. What will happen when they reach the end of the trail? And will they even get there if Derek insists on doing the navigating?
